Cantine di Marzo

The di Marzo company, in Tufo, in the province of Avellino, with a winemaking tradition that dates back to the Seventeenth century, officially registered at the Chamber of Commerce of Avellino as an agricultural company in 1833, is the oldest winery in Campania and among the oldest in Southern Italy.

Well known for the Selection of single estate wines from Greco di Tufo DOCG, made from some of their most expressive vineyards: Colle Serrone, Laure and Ortale, these wines can be aged for longest time.
Thanks to the evolutionary potential of Greek grape wines, these products, before being placed on the market, spend a further year of bottle aging in the optimal environment of our Historic Cellars.

By visiting the Historic Cellars of the Di Marzo’s, the visitors get acknowledged of the sulphur mines, that have always belonged to the local tradition.
The cellars are dig into the rocks and mediaeval tunnels underground, till the enchanting wine tasting rooms at ground level.
